Sabal Palm Creative Agency was created to provide quality creative services, content and products for the culture of South Carolina and beyond.

Sean Taylor, affectionately known as Slim, is an entrepreneur, artist and photographer based in Orangeburg, SC. A native of St. Andrews, SC, Sean’s ties to Orangeburg trace back to his maternal grandparents who settled there in the late 1970’s. Sean’s love for art and music is attributed to his up-bringing. He has fond memories of listening to R&B, Soul, Jazz and Funk as a child.

Though photography was initially a hobby he picked up as a high school junior, he created a brand by the name of “Cultured Craft” and began selling brightly designed pin-back buttons to his peers.

He attended Coastal Carolina University for two years studying graphic design. In 2013, Taylor began screen-printing shirts under the Sabal Palm moniker. Inspired by the late Nipsey Hussle’s “Crenshaw” sweatshirts, he designed the first “Burg” t-shirt.

2019 was the turning point for the self-made mogul. Sean solidified his brand as “Sabal Palm Creative Agency LLC”, making himself a pillar within the Orangeburg community and surrounding areas.

To highlight one of the places he attributes to molding him, he released his first documentary series, “Welcome to the Burg” (2019) that spotlights the culture of The Burg’s up and coming creatives and entrepreneurs.
